Layer and Nio have partnered to introduce an autonomous scooter concept called Pal that leverages artificial intelligence to make commuting more efficient.
Congestion in streets is becoming a huge issue for both environmentalists, and those looking to get places on time. This scooter aims to offer a solution to that issue, as it has the ability to autonomously learn the preferred routes one takes. This means that riders can hop on and head to where they need to go. Over time, Pal will study the daily route, eventually taking the rider to their repeat destination without any prompt.
In addition, the scooter's sleek exterior offers a stylish alternative to taking public transportation or one's car.
