Connected screens like TVs and tablets are present in many homes but are focused on active entertainment, so the 'Atmoph Window 2' has been created as a passive smart solution that mimics the function of a window. Designed by Ryota Yokozeki, the second-generation display boasts a crisp 4K resolution that will continuously display footage from a digital library of over 1,000 scenes. Users can also sync their own images and video from their smartphone to transform the display into an oversized picture frame.
The 'Atmoph Window 2' is outfitted with a 4K camera and a microphone to let enable it to function as a smart home security solution to keep an eye on a dwelling when away. Facial-tracking technology will also keep the angle of the imagery optimized to the position of the user's face for a more immersive experience.
