This Nike Design Celebrates the Anniversary of the Atlanta Olympics

Nike released a new version of its 'Air Trainer SC High' to pay tribute to the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

With this in mind, the sneakers incorporate the same colors used for the summer games, paying tribute to an important point in history that saw the legendary Muhammad Ali light the torch to kick off the Atlanta Olympics. The vibrant shoes feature a bright turquoise suede and leather upper that's contrasted by a white tongue and gold accents.

The rubber soles are marked by multi-hued accents that give it a more retro look, mimicking a type of tie-dye pattern. Gold embroidery spells out the Nike brand name and lightly patterns white stripes that decorate the uppers, giving the color palette a more cohesive look.
