The ASUS Zephyrus M Features Intel's Eighth Generation of Cores

Gaming laptops often force buyers to choose between portability and performance, but the ASUS Zephyrus M manages to combine the two in an impressive package. At just 19.9mm thick, the laptop packs a 15.6-inch display, with full HD resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time. The laptop also comes with one USB-C, two USB-3.1 Gen 1, two USB-3.1 Gen2, one HDMI 2.0 and a 3.5-mm jack. The external package of the ASUS Zephyrus M is rounded out with a built-in HD camera, microphone, and a backlight keyboard.
Externally speaking the laptop is quite impressive, but its internals are really where the gaming laptop shines. Two versions of the laptop are available, but both models feature an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 GPU and Intel Core i7 processor. The core comes from Intel's eighth generation line and the ASUS Zephyrus M is the thinnest gaming laptop to feature this core. The differences in laptop model focus primarily on memory and storage, as the more expensive version features 16GB of DDR4 RAM and a 256 GB SSD, as well as a 1 TB SSHD.
