The Arsenal FC 125th anniversary celebrations began a few weeks ago when the legendary English Premier League club reached its fifth-quarter century milestone. One of the ways the team decided to celebrate the Arsenal FC 125th anniversary celebrations is by releasing a mini-documentary charting the club's path to the top, as well as stories of passion from some of the club's more famous fans.
The Arsenal FC 125th anniversary celebration video features American film director Spike Lee, Arsenal striker Theo Walcott, and French DJ and record label owner Gilles Peterson, all sharing the different reasons they feel passionate about the club and its spirit.
My favorite part of the video is the fact that they have the quinntessential New Yorker, Spike Lee, confessing his love for European football and a European football club. The genuine glee in discussing the topic is palpable on his face, and it's incredibly endearing.
