The signature third-person shooter game dubbed Armored Core is the main design influence taken into consideration by New Balance with the help of creative studio Ceeze. The 2002R sneaker model is the foundational silhouette for the collaboration.

It is the sixth installment of the gaming franchise the is launching this week with a deconstructed design influence with notes that nod to the brutal elements of Rubicon, which is the location that the game takes place in. Visually, the upper is inspired by Python and can be seen with the textural details done in a tonal gray nubuck suede material. Other details include the earthy tonal mesh for breathability and emblems that nod to the game.
