Aritzia, the Canadian fashion label beloved for its forward-facing styles, recently announced its officially carbon neutral. The brand is now accountable for 100 percent of it the carbon its emits through its offices, stores, and distribution centers.
In order to achieve this sustainable feat, Aritzia purchases Renewable Energy Credits from clean wind projects, and to account for its natural gas footprint, the brand partnered with EcoAct to invest in Verified Carbon Standard certified Carbon Offsets.
As consumers continue to be wary of their environmental footprint and seek to reduce their daily impact, brands that make sustainable efforts like Aritzia will be top choices. "As a leader in an industry we know can make a difference, we have a responsibility to do right by people and the planet."
