Shelves and clothes hooks are two of the most convenient fixtures in front foyers and waiting rooms and the Areaware Wire by Aruliden is an impressive hybrid of the pair. Instead of taking the uninteresting form of a ledge with a line of pegs, this clever creation takes on a single simplistic form which allows it to accomplish a variety of tasks.
When you view it sidelong you can see that the magazine rack was inspired by the iconic outline of a metal coat hanger. A long silver rod was manipulated into a coil of uniform obtuse triangle bends that produces five peaks on top and six braces beneath. The Areaware Wire by Aruliden can hence behave as a coat rack with loops for suspending scarves and umbrellas, all the while providing a crib for longer items that usually require a shelf.
