The Arctic Xtender Features a Unique Component Layout for Builders

— August 12, 2025 — Tech
The Arctic Xtender is a premium E-ATX chassis engineered for maximum airflow and flexible coolant configurations. It arrives with five pre-installed fans—three 140 mm intake on the side and two 120 mm exhaust at the rear—and supports up to two 420 mm radiators in either the side or roof positions. The case features modular, removable fan brackets, magnetic mesh filters, tempered glass side panels, and smart cable management with 3D pass-throughs to maintain a clean interior. Storage options include two 3.5 in/2.5 in bays and four dedicated 2.5 in mounts, while front I/O offers USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, and audio ports.

Independent evaluation by KitGuru found that, in its standard configuration without the vertical GPU riser, the Xtender maintains effective cooling for both CPU and graphics card installations. However, when the optional vertical graphics mount is engaged, clearance conflicts between large GPUs (e.g., Palit RTX 5080) and side-mounted AIO coolers led to CPU temperature increases of up to 20 °C in testing. Arctic offers multiple Xtender variants—with or without the vertical GPU mounting bracket—in black, white, or mirror black, priced between €199.99 and €229.99 (pre-rebate), with promotional rebates reducing some models to as low as €144.99.
