Zara Stores are Experimenting with AR Display Windows

Zara's brick-and-mortar locations have been undergoing high-tech makeovers to present the consumer with a physical space that blends the online and offline shopping worlds and its most recent addition is its AR display windows.

First seen at its flagship store in London, these tech-infused windows enhance the consumer's shopping trip through offering a more streamlined in-store experience. When near a sensor, consumers will be able to see clothing items being modeled on the screen. The connected phone app will then enable consumers to browse the item for more information and even make purchases through their phone.

Zara hopes its digital content will boost sales, while offering something innovative for a younger generation of shoppers.
