AppsBuilder is a cool Italian innovation that targets the internet and smartphone savvy without any specific knowledge in informatics. AppsBuilder enables you to create your own personalized and customized app -- for iPhone, iPad or Android smart phones -- in an easy and extremely cost effective way: no development, neither App Store nor Android Market publication costs.
All you need to do is focus your ideas, download AppsBuilder for free and start creating your own App as if you were playing with LEGO. When you're finished, AppsBuilder will allocate percentage to your App (based on criteria that you can easily influence for the better), and if you're over 90% the App will be published and available for all your friends to download -- for free of course. If you choose the basic account AppsBuilder will display advertising in your App and for those who prefer the ad-free option, a small monthly contribution is requested.
AppsBuilder was developed by two informatics students of the Turin Politecnico University, Daniele Pelleri and Luigi Giglio. They will be presenting their innovation during the Milan Social Media Week 2011.
