Social Change Technology Programs

Apps for Good is for Students Interested in Innovation

Apps for Good is essentially exactly what it sounds like, but even more invested in education for young people specifically. "Our goal is to transform the way technology is taught in schools; to empower students from all backgrounds to seize the opportunities of our digital age and create solutions to the problems they care about, using technology," writes Rodrigo Baggio, CDI Apps for Good Founding Chairman and Founder CDI Global.

The program itself is intended for young people from the ages of 10 to 18 and more than merely technology skills, they learn life skills and are able to surpercharge their confidence and social skills through a group setting. The apps that come out of the program are coolest of all and include names like Dog Log, Cattle Manager, Pitch Pals and Social Bank. What would happen if students created more apps for the world at large? Big change, we can only imagine.
