The artist known online as “大馬場十三” has gone to great length to personify every team playing in the world cup. Each anime world cup girl is given its own unique costume, which to some degree, reflects the culture and aesthetics of the country they are meant to represent. Spain has a matador look to her, Brazil’s costume is reminiscent of those one would find during Carnival, and America is wearing a red, white, and blue Iron Man-inspired armor.
