Heavily inspired by rock-n-roll, the Anais Pouliot Vogue Russia editorial looks like it is set in Morocco. The layered persian carpets, ornate walls and overall opulent setting gives the editorial an exotic flair. The fashion itself can be considered subtly exotic with the occasional belled sleeve, snakeskin pattern and fur embellishments. Nevertheless, the outfits are made for the contemporary woman with a Western way of life.
Lensed by famed photographer Ellen von Unwerth for the magazine's March 2012 issue, the Anais Pouliot Vogue Russia editorial appears to follow an American musician on an international tour. Starring alongside 'musician boyfriend' and male model Leebo Freeman, Pouliot is either a sexy singer or a devoted groupee. The shoot was styled by fashion director Ekaterina Mukhina.
