American footwear imprint G.H. Bass continues to work in collaboration with its long-time partner British label Fred Perry as the duo taps on the Amy Winehouse Foundation. The trio celebrates the late artist with a new and honorary approach to the classic shoe known as the Penny Loafer, which is originally created by G.H. Bass. The brand is inspired by the artist's aesthetics, tapping into her playful aura.
To do so, the shoe starts off with crocodile-printed leather along the upper. It is then detailed with gilded hearts that are seen on the heel counter as a nod to her arm tattoos. The laurel wreath logo by Fred Perry is seen adorning the tongue with more branding at the insole.
