Cargo-Only Airline Flights

American Airlines Will Only Transporting Cargo to and from Europe

American Airlines announced that it will be using its aircraft for only cargo flights to and from European destinations. The airline also indicated that these flights will carry essential medical supplies, telecommunications equipment, electronics, e-commerce packages, and mail. Cargo-only flights ensure that passengers are not contributing to the spread of COVID-19, and it also ensures that essential supplies continue to be delivered.

Rick Elieson, the president of Cargo and vice president of International Operations at American Airlines, spoke about the changes, "We have a critical role to play in keeping essential goods moving during this unprecedented time, and we are proud to do our part and find ways to continue to serve our customers and our communities."
