The 'Altered:Shower' is an eco-friendly fixture for the bathroom that will provide a way to drastically cut down on resource use without drastically changing the experience for the bather. The shower head is characterized by a specialized nozzle that allows less water to pass through when compared to traditional faucets, while still providing effective coverage. This is thanks to the way it shapes water into a dome to offer total coverage that won't affect the time needed to get cleaned up.
The 'Altered:Shower' fixture features a water flow rate of 3.8 liters per minute, which would save a household more than 28,000 liters of water per year. The faucet would also cut down on CO2 emissions thanks to a decreased need to heat additional water.
