The Alt V2 from Drop is a compact 65% mechanical keyboard that offers a range of features and improvements over its predecessor. The keyboard has a CNC-machined aluminum case, magnetic feet for adjustable typing angle, doubleshot PBT shine-through keycaps, and dual USB-C ports. It also supports hot-swappable switches, plate-mounted stabilizers, and per-key RGB LED lighting. The Alt V2 has a new PCBA with 5-pin switch support, a new STM32 chipset with better QMK performance, and a range of RGB LED improvements. The keyboard costs $180, but Drop Keyboard Club members can save a minimum of $30 with their annual membership. The keyboard also has a 3-year warranty option for an extra $25.
