San Diego-based photographer Raul Romo shot iridescent beauty Ally Ertel for a C-Heads exclusive editorial. Romo explains, “We shot this at the lovely Malibu Phoenix Retreat, a beautiful event location specializing in weddings and parties."
Ertel's patrician coloring, wheat-blonde hair and deep, cerulean eyes catch the light in unexpected ways, causing her to practically shimmer. Her eyes were further enhanced by makeup artist Megan Porschen, who applied a white liner to the inner eye crease and lash line. Everything else was kept subtle, but with a slight sheen that further illuminated and radiated Ertel's outstanding presence. Stylist Promise Newell finished up the look with crisp, light ensembles, including a pair of white pleated pants.
However, despite her gorgeous, lush surroundings, Ertel doesn't look especially thrilled. Fortunately, her melancholy doesn't affect her loveliness; she is just as luminous as ever.
