The Align Stapler Can Be Detached From its Base for Added Versatility

Designed by inventor Kenneth Rubi, the Align stapler is a lot like other staplers save for one key feature: it can be detached from its base and magnetically held in place! This adds a whole new level of functionality because, unlike most staplers that are limited by their length, the Align stapler lets you staple materials of any size.

Whether it's posters or bristol boards or large sheets of cardboard, Align gives you the ability to staple pretty much whatever you want because, thanks to the power of magnetism, the base will always align with the stapler. That means you never have to worry about accidentally putting a staple through your grandfather's antique mahogany desk.

Rubi came up with the idea after warping a project he was working on in order to make room for a normal stapler. He decided that after 130 years of basically the same design, the stapler was due for an upgrade. The decision to create a magnetic base is an amazingly simple improvement, but it makes the stapler so much more useful that it's nothing short of genius.
