The Alcraft GT is a new electric car from startup British EV company Alcraft. The sleek shooting brake, the auto industry's term for a performance-oriented two-door station wagon, is meant to be a direct competitor to the Tesla Model S and upcoming Porsche Mission E. Its electric motors produce 600 horsepower and 840 lb-ft of torque. A run from 0-60 mph happens in just 3.5 seconds and max range is said to be 300 miles.
The Alcraft GT has seating for two so it's not the most practical car in the world. However, there does seem to be a fair bit of storage space behind its futuristic cabin. The Alcraft GT is currently seeking crowdfunding to commence production. If all goes well the Alcraft GT should go on sale before the end of 2019 and cost between $160,000 and $171,000.
