Looking past the holidays, Nike is moving forward with the celebratory Air Jordan 'Mardi Gras.'
The shoe includes the traditional colors of Mardi Gras, purple and gold, as well as flecks of color all over the sole. Also featuring a Fleur-de-lis and a CP coat of arms in tonal etching, the Air Jordan 'Mardis Gras' shoes make me want to go down to Bourbon Street and throw beads like there is no tomorrow.
Implications - In today's society, consumers are very easily influenced. Companies that can effectively design products that will be portrayed as limited edition or exclusive offers will likely attract larger numbers of clients than they would with basic versions.
