LinkedIn Created AI Tools for Users to Get Feedback on Soft Skills
Daniel Johnson — May 1, 2020 — Tech
LinkedIn created a number of AI tools that can help users prepare for questions ahead of an interview. the AI tools can be used as ‘video introductions,’ where employers can request a user to create a video of themselves, which allows employers to get a feel for an applicant at times when in-person meetings cannot occur. Prospective employees can use AI tools to practice interview questions and receive live feedback on their performance. When an applicant believes they are ready, they can record their video and send it to potential employers.
Overall the tools can help applicants work on their soft skills, which may help them in their job search. Some of the soft skills the system can help improve are related pauses when speaking, filler words, as well as words they may wish to not use.
