Developers and security researchers with a knack for tracking down and locating bugs in software can now look to claim financial rewards for their skills, thanks to a brand new AI initiative, launched by OpenAI, that offers rewards to people who are able to find bugs in their software.
OpenAI, which is perhaps best known for the Chat GPT chatbot, is offering rewards that range between $200 and as high as $20,000 to security researchers who detect bugs. The 'OpenAI Bug Bounty Program' invites researchers and developers to look for and detect bugs, vulnerabilities and areas of concern, giving them the opportunity to make the AI ecosystem safer whilst also receiving due rewards for their contributions.
This AI initiative is being launched in partnership with Bugcrowd, a popular platform that specializes in streamlining and organizing bug bounty programs.
