Neilpryde's Alize and Diablo Models are Ultra-Light Bicycles
Neilpryde, in partnership with BMW's DesignworksUSA, developed two lightweight aerodynamic model bikes which weigh less than eight kilograms each. The two models -- the Alize and Diablo -- went through extensive wind-tunnel testing, and combine a balance of weight, aerodynamic performance and stiffness through specially designed morphing frames.
Both of the two high performance bikes use Mavic Ksyrium SL wheels, FSA stems and handlebars and Selle Itallia saddles. The Diablo Dura Ace weighs just 6.75 kg while Alize Ultegra is 7.3 kg.
The two high performance, lightweight aerodynamic bikes have been officially revealed at the Vattenfall Cyclassics in Hamburg.
