The photo editing Adobe app Lightroom will be made available on the Mac App Store. This will be the first major app from the company that will be available through the app Mac App Store. Lightroom has a subscription-based model, which costs users $10 USD a month to access.
Apple clearly has an interest in bringing the Adobe app to its platform and is currently displaying Lightroom on the App Store's homepage. The tech giant is continuously seeking software developers to sell products through its platform with Lightroom being the latest software to launch on the Mac App Store. The software follows in the footsteps of other big titles such as Microsoft's Office 365. Like Lightroom, Microsoft also runs a subscription-based model for its Office product. In the future, we may see more software developers make programs available through the platform.
