The 'Adesse Watch' concept has been designed by Jansen Che as an ultra-minimalist accessory that aims to eliminate unnecessary design elements in favor of a plain, unbranded aesthetic.
The timepiece doesn't feature any hands, numbers or other visual identifiers, but instead opts for an hourglass-inspired face that utilizes a small etch in the face to tell the time. Wearers can decipher the time by identifying the location of the notch on the face, which eliminates the need for an hour and minute hand in favor of a singular indicator that can be read in 15 minute increments.
The 'Adesse Watch' concept boasts a distinctly fuss-free aesthetic that could help a wearer to feel less limited by the time constraints of their schedule by having them focus more on the task at hand. The accessory is the winner of the 2019 Red Dot Design Concept Award.
