This Addams Family Wedding Shows a Serious Love of Dark Glamour

Because Katie and Chris see themselves as a modern-day Morticia and Gomez, they set up an awesome Addams Family wedding theme for their big day. Although the event looks to be quite elaborate from the wedding day photos, in total, the couple only dished out $1,000 for it all.

The ceremony was hosted at the couple's home and most of the decor at the reception was put together as DIY projects. The couple intended to have their wedding outdoors, but when the weather report called for rain, the couple opted to roll with the punches and have their ceremony indoors, turning their home into a dramatic venue with draped sheets in black and white. One of the most charming details at the wedding was the cake, topped by an undead newlywed couple of figurines.
