Jordan is Set to Release International Women’s Day Sneakers

This month, Jordan is releasing an International Women's Day sneaker called the Air Jordan 1 Low ‘IWD’ in support of the March 8th holiday. The sneaker will be released on the special day while bringing attention to important issues like gender equality, reproductive rights, and abuse against women.

The sneaker is colored in an amethyst wave, olive aura, dark sulfur, and canyon purple colorway. The sneaker's material comes in leather, suede, and corduroy. The main feature of the sneaker is the message of unity written on the sneaker. On the toe box, it reads, “Because One Day, This Day Will Be Our Everyday” along with words like “Unity” and “Equality” placed on the inside corners of the toe box, and the heel of the sneaker also contains a wings logo.

This International Women's Day sneaker is launching on March 6th, before the global holiday. It speaks to growing consumer desires for empowering fashion products that make both a visual and thought-provoking statement.
