Arkeon Technologies Raises Seed for Its Arkeon Alignment Platform

Arkeon Technologies, a Gothenburg-based quantum computing startup, raised €594.2k in seed funding to advance a technology that improves the performance and yield of superconducting quantum chips after fabrication. Founded in 2025, the company has developed a method that adjusts qubit frequencies post-production, helping compensate for manufacturing variations that can affect chip accuracy and stability.

The approach works by applying controlled current pulse trains to modify junction resistance, enabling more precise frequency placement without requiring manufacturers to redesign existing fabrication processes. By allowing each chip to be individually optimized after production, the technology aims to improve reproducibility, increase wafer-level yields and reduce manufacturing costs as quantum processors become more complex. The funding round, backed by Chalmers Ventures, Navigare Ventures and Almi Invest, will support technology development, customer validation and international expansion.

For quantum hardware developers, the solution addresses a key manufacturing bottleneck as the industry works toward larger-scale commercial quantum systems.
