The 2012 Volkswagen Beetle features both major body and interior modifications. For 2012, all models from the Volkswagen lineup were majorly updated. The redesigned Beetle boasts more visually appealing exterior elements such as wide fender flares and a longer body.

Like most of the other Volkswagens in Europe, the 2012 Volkswagen Beetle will give people a choice of either a 1.2-liter gasoline engine, a 2.0-liter turbocharged model and a 1.6-liter turbo diesel version.
