Salehe Bembury Joins New Balance on the 1906 Shoe

Salehe Bembury continues to work in collaboration with New Balance and this time, the two shine a spotlight on the 1906 sneaker model by the Boston brand. The two first worked together on a sneaker back in 2020 and have seen updated silhouettes in the form of the 574, the 990v2, and the 2002R.

This time, the 1906R sneakers get a technical update and were originally teased online on Bembury's Instagram. It sees a bright tone that embodies a flame-like motif in the form of an ombre mesh material. This rests under the overlays done in metallic silver for a bold contrast and it all rests on top of the brand' archetypal N-ergy cushioning for comfort.
