15 Precarious Pole-Dancing Activities

From Dancersizing to Competitive Stripper Sports

The rising popularity of precarious pole-dancing activities may put some on edge, however, it seems there is a lean and clean reason for the lifestyle choice.

Pole dance is now seen as a type of exercise. Many back the erotic pastime as a legitimate workout, seeing as it does require excruciating upper-body strength as well as absolute ab-control (some even cite it as a gymnastic sport). Many ladies buy kits that enable them to practice at home, while others purchase classes which they regularly attend at a studio. However, some people like instructor KT Coates, a pole dancing instructor, may be going too far -- she set up a campaign hoping to get pole dancing into the 2012 London Olympics!

Whether it will be truly recognized as a sport in the future, only time will tell.
