Minisforum's 'UM580' Has a Large Heatsink and a Raised Stand

Minisforum, the mini PC company, launched the 'UM580' with a powerful integrated graphics card. This PC is powered by the AMD Ryan 7 5800H with eight cores and 16 threads running at 4.4 Ghz, which comes with the Radeon Vega 8 GPU at 2 Ghz.

The UM580 can be ordered with 16GB of RAM bundled with a 512GB SSD, or 32GB of RAM with a 512GB SSD. Alternatively, for customers who prefer more RAM or a larger SSD, they can opt to order the computer in its barebones configuration, which comes with both of these sockets empty, allowing for end-user upgrades.

One of the most unique aspects of Minisforum's UM580 is its design. Nearly half of the device is dedicated to ventilation via its large heatsink, which sits atop the computer's floating stand to allow for optimal airflow to the CPU. This helps keep temperatures low, even during more intense workloads.
