Typewise and ETH Zurich Professor Join Forces in New Collaboration

Typewise, a Swiss deep tech company, recently announced a new partnership with Professor Ryan Cotterell of ETH Zurich. The new collaboration will focus on AI text prediction technology with a specialization in advanced sentence prediction, grammar assistance, enterprise customization, and voice support. Swiss innovation agency Innosuisse funded the work and is part of the 'Future of Mobile Interaction' project.

Janis Berneker, Typewise CTO and Co-founder, comments: "Our collaboration allows us to work with one of the world’s most advanced centers for this type of AI which is helping us build a world-class product. We are very excited about this new partnership especially as our previous work with ETH led to us creating text prediction AI which outperforms that of Google’s and Apple’s, which we filed a patent for in January 2022. We believe this latest partnership will generate further significant advancements in this area."
