SWISS airline will soon be introducing its first own-creation cocktail, the SWISS Alpine Essence, to its onboard drink list. The SWISS signature cocktail was developed with award-winning bartender Sarah Madritsch and Zurich’s IGNIV by Andreas Caminada Bar to convey the lightness and freshness of the Alps.
This cocktail is made with dry white vermouth and elderflower syrup, refreshing crème de menthe, white crème de cacao, and citrus and herbal notes for a concoction that's reminiscent of a floral white negroni.
As of July 2025, SWISS Alpine Essence will be offered in first and business class on long-haul flights. In September 2025, the drink will join SWISS’ buy-on-board menu on short-haul flights, so that economy passengers can experience it as well.
