Soof Azani and Lir Braverman Debut a Proposal for a Bike Called D50

An innovative solar-powered cargo bike is among the competing proposals in Dezeen's Future Mobility Competition powered by Arrival. This design was submitted by Soof Azani and Lir Braverman. With a focus on sustainability, this proposal has the promise of alleviating emissions for local deliveries. It also accommodates bike couriers by minimizing the physical exertion of their mode of transportation.

The solar-powered carbo bike is named D50 and is designed "for heavy loads to expedite last-mile deliveries for traders and businesses." The solar panels are strapped to the roof of the vehicle. Aware of the often devastating condition of city and town roads, Soof Azani and Lir Braverman also prioritized durability and terrain compatibility for the design of the wheels which are "airless." Additionally, the solar-powered cargo bike is also modular and can be easily disassembled.
