The Ressence TYPE 9 timepiece has been announced by the Belgium-based brand as an ultra-minimalist accessory that aims to expand on what's possible when it comes to watch design.
The watch is constructed with a grade 5 titanium case that spans 39mm in width and just 11mm in thickness, while the whole thing weighs in at 39-grams. The watch has a very simple face that only has the hours and minutes as part of an extreme step with the accessory to strip away everything but the absolute essentials.
Founder Benoît Mintiens spoke on the Ressence TYPE 9 timepiece saying, "The TYPE 9 is the smallest watch we can produce to this day, considering the size of the components. From a distance, it looks very classical but up close it reveals itself as much more sophisticated. It is a modern fit for every wrist."
