Trader Joe's new Organic Roasted Vegetable Pizza boasts a flavorful mead of roasted veggies, including roasted eggplant, zucchini, red onion, grilled yellow and red peppers, and garlic. In fact, the veggies are roasted by a supplier near Bologna, Italy, who ensures each one has reached peak texture and flavor before chopping the veggies into long strips and layers them on a crisp and chewy sourdough crust. The pizza also features a rich tomato sauce, a sprinkle of mozzarella, and a dash of hard cheddar cheese. But perhaps the most distinguishing feature of this frozen pizza is that all the ingredients are 100% organic – a statement that very few other frozen pizzas can claim.
