The Okanagan Forest Task Force has launched a new service designed to maintain cleanliness in the backcountry through the newly developed Okanagan Forest Task Force app. This innovative platform empowers residents to actively participate in environmental stewardship by reporting areas needing attention, subsequently triggering swift responses from OFTF members.

When encountering a potential issue, users can utilize the app to drop a GPS pin precisely at the location and automatically record their GPS coordinates. One of the app's standout features is its seamless operation, even in areas with limited cell service or instability.

Currently available on the Apple App Store, the OFTF app is poised to expand its accessibility further with the imminent launch of the Android version within the upcoming weeks.
