The 'Moterra SL' ebikes are the latest electric mountain bikes from Cannondale, featuring sleek and lightweight designs that combine carbon frames, integrated batteries, and powerful motors. The ebikes have a Lefty Ocho fork, a RockShox rear shock, and a Shimano drivetrain, offering smooth and responsive handling on any terrain. The ebikes also have a Proportional Response suspension system, which adjusts the suspension according to the rider’s size and weight, ensuring optimal performance and comfort.
The three models of the Moterra SL ebikes are the Moterra SL 1, the Moterra SL 2, and the Moterra SL Lab71. The Moterra SL 1 and the Moterra SL 2 have a Bosch Performance Line CX motor, which delivers up to 85 Nm of torque and has four modes: Eco, Tour, eMTB, and Turbo. The Moterra SL Lab71 has a Bosch Performance Line Speed motor, which can reach speeds of up to 45 km/h and has the same four modes. The Moterra SL 1 and the Moterra SL 2 have a 601 Wh battery, while the Moterra SL Lab71 has a variety of battery options available. The batteries are fully integrated into the frames and can be removed for charging. The prices of the ebikes are as follows: the Moterra SL 1 costs $11,940 CAD, the Moterra SL 2 costs $9,550 CAD, and the Moterra SL Lab71 costs $19,095 CAD. The ebikes are available in sizes S, M, L, and XL and in different colors depending on the model. The ebikes are expected to be in stock in March 2024.
