Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company, an award-winning brewery with a distribution presence across four states, has teamed up with none other than legendary Rita's Italian Ice in order to launch the Rita's Fruit Brews line of fruity beers that are inspired by Rita's offerings.
The first fruity beer to be offered as part of this exciting collaboration is the Rita's Fruit Brews Mango, clearly inspired by Rita's most popular offering. This particular beer is brewed with white wheat, flaked oats and 2-Row Malt, and makes use of Chinook and Herkules hop varieties before being sweeted by generous amounts of mango. With its bright and refreshing flavor, this mango beer is ideally designed for springtime and summer sipping, and will add a heady dose of nostalgia for those who grew up with a taste for RIta's products.
Kyle Park, director of sales and marketing at Neshaminy Creek Brewing, revealed that the idea for the collaboration stemmed from trips to Rita's with his children during the pandemic. "The brand continues to be such a big part of our summer memories, creating a line of beers inspired by them felt like a no-brainer," Park said.
