These new Florette salads are making their debut in the UK from the prepared salad brand as the perfect options for consumers to pick up this spring to start the season off on a lighter note fare-wise.
The salads come in the Florette Spicy Salad Peri-Peri flavor and the Florette Caesar Salad, which each feature a blend of fresh ingredients along with textural accents and ample flavor. The salad kids are each washed and ready to eat, and are priced at £2.50 per container., The products are rolling out mid-June to Iceland, Booths, Nisa, SPAR, Londis and Budgens.
Commercial and Marketing Director Martin Purdy spoke on the new Florette salads saying, "The two products are very different, will have major on-shelf presence and we’re confident will broaden the appeal of market-leading Florette. Florette Spicy Salad comes with a bit of Peri Peri attitude, meeting the growing appetite amongst UK consumers for spicy food, and offers a real point of difference in a category which is seen by some as a bland sea of green. It’s really versatile and can be enjoyed as a stand-alone lunch, a tasty side dish or used to add more spice to protein dishes."
