Flex by Google Pay is a UPI-Linked Credit Card in India with Axis Bank

Flex by Google Pay is a digital credit card issued through the Google Pay app in partnership with Axis Bank and built on India’s RuPay network. The card is integrated directly with the Unified Payments Interface, allowing users to make UPI transactions on credit at supported merchants. Issuance takes place entirely within the app, with no separate application required, and the card is available for both online and in-store payments. Users can view transactions, manage repayments, set or reset PINs, and block the card through Google Pay’s interface.

The card includes a rewards system that credits users with points for eligible spending, which can be redeemed within the app. Repayments can be made in full or converted into installment plans depending on user eligibility. Terms such as interest rates and installment fees vary based on credit assessment. Google plans to expand the program with additional banking partners to increase availability across India.
