The 'Ultra' Can Traverse 128 Kilometers On a Single Charge

Blix, an electric bike manufacturer based in Santa Cruz, California, has launched a brand new fat tire e-bike that is designed to be able to navigate all kinds of terrain.

The 'Ultra' is a fat tire e-bike that is powered by a rear hub motor that is capable of producing a peak output of 1,350 watts at 90 Nm of torque. This setup enables the e-bike to achieve a top speed of 45 km/h, with users able to access five different levels of power assistance. The inclusion of dual batteries allows for up to 128 km of range on a full charge whether in the city or off-road.

This fat tire e-bike is currently up for pre-order at a price of $2,399 or $1,999 for dual-battery and single-battery variants respectively.
