The Explorer Peak is a new e-fat bike from Fezzari, a Utah-based company that specializes in custom-fitting bikes to riders. The bike features a full carbon frame with internal cable routing, a Shimano drive unit mount, and a 197x12mm rear axle. The bike is designed to handle any terrain and weather conditions, from snow to sand, with its 27.5x4.5 inch tires and 80mm rims. The bike also has a sleek and modern look, with a matte black finish and orange accents.
The Explorer Peak comes in two build options: Comp and Elite. Both builds use the Shimano EP600/EP801 Full-Power Drive System, which delivers up to 85 Nm of torque and has four modes: Eco, Trail, Boost, and Walk. The Comp build has a SRAM NX Eagle Transmission, 12-speed drivetrain, TRP Trail EVO brakes, and a Darfon 720w integrated battery. The Elite build has a SRAM GX Eagle Transmission, 12-speed drivetrain, TRP Trail EVO brakes, and a Darfon 835w integrated battery. The battery life depends on the mode and terrain, but can range from 30 to 100 miles per charge. The Comp build costs $4,399 USD and the Elite build costs $5,299 USD. The bike is currently available for pre-order, with an estimated delivery of early 2024.
