Classic cheesy pizzas are on offer at most pizza restaurants and the newest options at Papa Johns introduce sandwich-style varieties like the new Grilled Cheese pizza. This gooey, savory pie is made with both mozzarella and cheddar, plus a bechamel base and crunchy panko breadcrumbs.
Papa Johns also debuted the Grilled Ham & Cheese pizza, another option made with a bechamel base, plus mozzarella, ham, cheddar, and a panko breadcrumb topping, and the Cheeseburger Pizza, which builds on a base of Heinz Burger Sauce with spicy beef, fresh tomatoes, onions, and cheddar cheese.
As a whole, this new range of cheesy pizzas was informed by the UK's love of cheese. "At Papa Johns, we’re committed to innovation and quality, which is why we’re using a premium British, six-month matured cheddar cheese," said Research & Development Director, Adam Wilcock, "We’re always looking for new ways to excite our customers, and we can’t wait for everyone to try the new Hot off the Grill range."
