Casa Parini Creates Eco-Friendly Luxury Bedding from Natural Hemp

Casa Parini, founded by Viola Stancati, aims to address the need for environmentally conscious bedding products that require less water during production. In the quest for eco-friendly and sustainable alternatives, hemp fabrics have emerged as a prominent replacement for cotton in the bedding and home industry. Emphasizing sustainability and ecological responsibility, Casa Parini exclusively utilizes natural hemp from pesticide-free cannabis plants, renowned as one of the most environmentally friendly crops worldwide.

Beyond its eco-friendly attributes, hemp is also prized for its breathability and thermoregulatory properties, making it an ideal choice for enhancing sleep comfort.

"Even organic cotton has serious issues especially with regards to water consumption," Stancati said. "Hemp, however, needs minimal water, about a third that of organic cotton."

Currently, Casa Parini's hemp sheets are available on premium platforms like Artemest, while its other releases, like a recent collaboration with the Italian ready-to-wear label, Erika Cavallini, can be sourced from other upscale platforms.
