Carnival Cruise Unveils Its Newest Ship, 'Carnival Celebration'

As part of its 50th Anniversary festivities, Carnival Cruise Line has officially revealed its newest cruise ship, the 'Carnival Celebration.' The new cruise will function as the sister ship to the company's popular Mardi Gras and will make its debut in November 2022.

The Carnvial Celebration will feature a three-deck atrium dubbed the Celebration Carnival, which has been designed to function as the heart of the new cruise, delivering an ongoing festive party-like environment. The space will include 3,000-square-foot floor-to-ceiling windows, which, at night, will be transformed into 14-foot LED screens. In addition, the ship will include a variety of new entertainment in the form of live music, acrobatic performances, and high-energy shows.

"From a design perspective, we are incorporating elements from our former ships, paying homage to the history of Carnival, and also showcasing Carnival Celebration as a modern, innovative, and forward-looking vessel," said Ben Clement, senior vice president of new builds, refurbishment, and product innovation.
