Air Transat adds a new non-stop route between Montreal (YUL) and Agadir (AGA) to its summer 2026 program, reinforcing its growing presence in Morocco and responding to strong demand from leisure travelers and the Moroccan community in Quebec.
Sébastien Ponce, Chief Revenue Officer at Transat, noted that "Morocco continues to captivate travelers with its landscapes, rich culture, and deep-rooted ties to Quebec’s diaspora." The new service, he explained, aligns with Air Transat’s mission to provide "simple, enjoyable, and inspiring travel experiences."
Situated on Morocco’s Atlantic coast, Agadir is renowned for its beaches and hospitality, making it an ideal complement to Air Transat’s existing Marrakech route. With this addition, the airline becomes the only North American carrier offering non-stop service to Agadir. Flights will operate every Friday from June 12 to October 23, 2026, aboard an Airbus A321LR, serving both vacationers and visiting families.
